The inspiration for this pony came from our 25th anniversary trip to Arizona.  My love of Trail of Painted Ponies started during that trip.  I bought my very first pony, Medicine Horse, and have been in love with them ever since.  Our travels took us from Tucson thru Phoenix with the final destination being Sedona and the Grand Canyon. 

My pony’s name is “Arizona Silver” to commemorate our 25th anniversary.  On one side you’ll see the beautiful sunset over the Red Rocks of Sedona, the hot air balloon ride that we took over Phoenix, and the giant Saguaro Cactus that towered over us in Tucson.  On the back you will see a simple silver background and the “Silver Anniversary” commemoration with the date of our anniversary.  “Arizona Silver” is traipsing through the desert’s red clay ground over the cactus, just as the wild mustangs we saw during our balloon ride.
