Again
the “WOW” factor!! Absolutely emotionally moving for me..love
the rock base and real mane and tail…the iridescent finish is magical…again
not being
an artist I could not appreciate all the wonderful
detail given in the pony story..but a real winner!!!
Judge 4
Beautiful Pony. It is obvious that a lot of thought, planning and detail was
needed to produce this pony. I wish you'd used a lighter background for your
pictures but that's not what I'm judging. I appreciate you explaining your
techniques to accomplish your finished pony.
Grand
Champion
This pony was chosen to be Grand Champion out of the the
two
first place ponies. Judge 1 and 3 placed Spring Pony as GC. Judge 4
placed Caballo as GC Judge 2 and Judge 5 unresponsive

Beautifully painted, and I love the horses face with the border collie
placement of black. Overall, a very dramatic and bold presentation.

Judge 3
I loved this pony concept of making the pony the same
colors and markings as a border collie..I can see how tedious the dog head
would be, but I think it turned out great.
Judge 4
I love the painted
pony itself resembling
the Border
Collie markings. You
did an excellent job of making the Border Collie come alive and it looks
like a photograph, well done.

Very
nice placement of everything on the pony; I love the gold and the iridescent
green together-would love to see a pony using just the two colors. The only
negative: the birds at the bottom take away from the pony a little to me.

Judge 3
For me the best pony story introduction…loved the
butterfly, but not as sure about the base…this would be difficult to
reproduce as a figurine with winged birds on the base…but I love the concept
and the thought behind it.
Judge 4
I
love the concept of this pony and all the hard work of painting the
different birds on it. Your embellishments are a nice touch but may be a
little out of proportion to the rest of the birds painted on the pony
itself.

This pony has the
“WOW’ factor…flashy…and beautifully done…love the color…and those of you who
know me know I am a “head” person…the eyes and muzzle on this one really
moved me…the redone mane and tail are gorgeous…I could definitely see this
pony being reproduced…always being asked for palomino ponies…we have very
few!!!
Judge 4
Stunning pony, very detailed, love the dapples and four white socks as well
as the remold. The horse painted on the base is a very nice detail. Love the
beautiful palomino color.

Very nice overall presentation with lots of work in the sculpting, like the
way the base is done.

This pony caught my eye the minute I opened the
email…It was tough to place this one second…very striking and I love all the
detail on the pony and the base…again a color that the trail could
use…speaking as a retailer…
Judge 4
I
really love buckskins and I myself love to embellish with saddles, bridles,
blankets etc. You can tell a lot of work was put into this pony but needs
something more to finish it.

Wish this would have had a story with it…I did some
searching on the internet as I had little knowledge of Sitting Bulls Circus
Horse…I love the detailed painting on the pony and the base…I was just a
little lost about the tiger cub…
Judge 4
This
pony is so cute, love the detail. I wish you would have sent a front
picture. Should name it "Cat Dancing". Brings back fond memories of the
circus horses when I was child.

I liked the written intro to the pony..not being an artist I would have
loved to know the process used on this pony to get the marbling effect if
that is what it is called
Judge 4
Beautiful
Pony, had me guessing on how it was done. Would have loved a driftwood base
to complete the theme. Your style and technique are exceptional.

It's really hard to judge this group because the talent is so good
for beginning artists. All of you that entered are to be commended
on your ideas, vision and for putting it on your finished ponies.
Thanks to all that entered. I enjoy seeing the different ideas and designs
and if I had my wish everyone would be first place.
